Playing the Market

Since I lost nearly 60% of my 401k in the crisis, I decide that I would start buying blue chips. Normally, they don't lose value but don't really gain either. My assumption was that when the market fixes itself, those would be among the quickest to return to their former value. Trading at an all time low, I bough a lot of large cap funds and in the last year, my 401k has more then tripled. Granted some of that is money I've been putting in but still, my large cap guess has paid off.

So, what's the next money maker? Should I expect another jump from the top companies or should I start concentrating on foreign. In the past 10 years or so, foreign investing has been a top earner every quarter.
